Circle K Classic Social Media /Communications RFP

The Circle K Classic is a world renowned U18AAA Hockey Tournament held annually in Calgary, AB. from Dec 27th to Jan 1st. The tournament attracts 32 teams from across Canada, The US and Internationally.
The Circle K Classic tournament is requesting interested parties to submit a proposal to provide the
social media and communication services for the 2023-24 tournament.
To be considered for the successful award of this contract proposals should consider the following:

Player Exposure
Community Engagement- Fans as well as local hockey community
Sponsorship Exposure
Timeline:
Team announcements to be released Nov 22nd, 2023.
Ticket Sales Open Nov 22nd, 2023
In store campaign with Circle K stores – 2nd week of December
Pool Reveal Launch Event approx. Dec 6th.
The tournament begins Dec 27th-Jan 1st, 2024.
Location:
The tournament operates out of Max Bell Arena and 7 Chiefs Arena. Will require in person work as well as some remote
Additional Details:
Successful vendors will be responsible for creating and executing content leading up to and during the tournament.
Website updating will also be required.
A contract will be awarded for one tournament cycle: 2023-24. Should the applicant meet the agreed upon KPI’s for this tournament the Circle K Classic would extend an invitation to sign a two-year agreement for services.
